Helen DevereauxHelen Devereaux is a personal budgeting coach from Western Australia. She is the founder of My Budget Trainer, an easy to use personalised program that educates and supports individuals in developing, and sticking to their personal budget so they achieve in becoming successful money managers.

Helen has over fifteen years experience as a Finance Professional, including mortgage broking, owning and managing her own businesses. She now shares her abundance of valuable skills and knowledge with others, through her personalised budget coaching service.

Helen has supported many people through the process of selecting, applying and refinancing home loans. She understands that budgeting is more than just numbers on a page. The personal and emotional aspects of budgeting are the real issues that people find challenging.

More than just a Budget Trainer, Helen is a passionate woman who is on a mission to get people talking about money. She has the warmth and understanding that puts her clients at ease and allows them to open up and reveal parts of themselves that have been hidden. Once uncovered, those parts paint a picture as to why patterning and entrenched beliefs surrounding money are holding many people back.

“It takes courage to show up and be vulnerable. I really admire the courage that it takes to step up and make the call to contact us. I understand the shame and fear of failure that’s going on in your heads, but to have made the call you are demonstrating you are ready and really wanting change, you’re probably at a tipping point. Just by taking that action you’re half way there.

It’s wonderful to witness clients feeling so liberated once they’ve shared how they feel around their money matters.”

This is so empowering for couples who have not been able to have a conversation around their money matters without reacting to each other and then they usually shut down and nothing ends up getting resolved and they go back to their usual ways of ignorance and denial until it raises its head again… then more of the same.

“I feel so privileged and grateful to witness couples opening up and sharing to each other what annoys them about their partner around their money matters and habits without reacting to each other. “This is pure Gold for any relationship, which can only get stronger with such openness and honesty to each other. During these sessions a structure and delegation is put in place and Accountability is the key which starts things happening for them.

When Helen sold her mortgage broking business in 2011, she knew that she had exceptional skills in budgeting and communicating, which could help many Australians. Through her professional success in the finance industry, and her own passion for personal growth and development, Helen has designed an innovate budgeting system that gets results and is easy to follow.

Helen is an advocate for Australians attaining and living the lifestyle that they desire. She is innovative and inspirational. Individuals and families, who learn from her, gain extremely valuable skills that will last a lifetime, skills that they can also teach to their children.
